Attention, Young Yellowjackets:

The Young Elementary School Library will be OPEN this summer!
The summer schedule will be:

Monday - Friday
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Here's some information that you need to know about the program:

  1. The library is open starting June 6 - 29th from 8:30-11:30 Monday through Friday.  **During the first week, we are open Wednesday through Friday.  On Wednesday, June 13, 21, and 27 the library will be open 8:30-2:30!

  2. We will be reading fantastic books, doing Reader's Theater performances, making crafts, listening to various storytellers, having picnic lunches, playing games, and having a GRAND 'OL TIME!

  3. Students are welcome to stay the entire time, or drop in at any time.

  4. Parents do not need to accompany their child, but are welcome.

  5. Students must have their own transportation...Buses will NOT run.

  6. Childcare for little ones will not be provided.

  7. Students are free to choose any book available and keep in their browsing box at the library, but books may not be checked out from the library.

  8. K-5 students may attend.

  9. Only BYE students will be eligible for the drawings/prizes.

  10. Daily prizes will be given (books, restaurant certificates).

  11. Large prizes will be given away on the last day (June 29th) of the program.

  12. Special guests (some you know and some you don't) will be coming to share fun things and good books!

  13. You may come as often as you like, but attendance is not required.  HOWEVER, the MORE you come, the MORE YOU WIN!!!
